The Ambassador’s Club held their 12th Annual Soiree this past Saturday night, July 31, at the Courtyard on St. James. STP Images was there to photograph the shindig that benefitted the Star of Hope Mission. The event drew a VERY large crowd and the women were absolutely stunning in their evening gowns and the men were quite stately in black tie. The event focused on a contest to search for the 2009 Soiree Queen and was hosted by Riyad Abu-Taha and Channnel 2’s Lauren Freeman. Local restaurants spread a massive appetizer buffet that lined the walls around the ballroom. The event was sponsored by Momentum Audi’s General Manager, Jared Lang, and he was there to help oversee the festivities and even played the role of Soiree Queen judge for the night. A panel of local celbrities and business executives judged the Soiree Queen competition and the decision couldn’t have been very easy at all. Even local Congressional Candidate Tex Christopher made it out for a spin or two around the dance floor (between shaking hands and kissing babies).
Make sure you check out a few of the event shots below and put this event on your calendar for next year. Contact STP Images for information about covering your next event.
