Executive Chef Soren Pedersen of Ray’s Grill

I love business professional portraits.  I am currently working on a project based on business owners and managers.  When I got the call to shoot Soren Pedersen of Ray’s Grill in Fulshear, I was more than happy to make the drive not only outside the loop, but outside the Grand Parkway.  To say the drive was worth it is an understatement.

Ray’s Grill is just two years old, but they have clients that regularly drive from Houston, Sugar Land and Katy for dinner, so the word is getting out.  Soren spent a full year planning Ray’s before opening it, with a focus on regional and local produce and meats to fulfill his “farm to table” philosophy.  This theory even permeates the wine list as there is an impressive list of local and organic wines.  Additionally, Soren updates the full menu each quarter and the Spring menu just debuted on April 1.  We were asked to photograph some of the Spring menu items and the food was fantastically fresh.  I will definitely be headed to Ray’s soon WITHOUT the camera.  Can’t wait to make the drive again!
