Noah’s H.S. Senior Portrait Session

Noah is a class of 2011 senior at Westside High School.  He’s involved in many activities including the Westside baseball team – a baseball powerhouse in Houston.  When we met with Noah to discuss his session, he definitely wanted some baseball portraits, but also wanted some edgy stuff downtown in addition to a ‘concept’ session in the studio.

We had a beautiful day for the photo shoot.  Perfectly clear skies and just enough sun to keep us warm on a very cool day.  We started by heading to a baseball field just blocks from the STP Images Studio.  After working on four different locations on the field, we went back to the studio and Noah changed clothes for the next part of our session.  Once he had changed, we loaded back into the Jeep and headed downtown.  We’ve got a few little places tucked away that we’ve scouted in the past and we went right to a couple of them for this part of the shoot.  We shot on an abandoned section of railroad tracks, an abandoned warehouse loading dock and a couple of older brick buildings.  We love what we shot and know that Noah will, too.

Once we had enough shots in the can, we then loaded up and headed back to the STP Images Photography Studio for our ‘themed’ portion of the session.  Noah is a part of an organization called Senior Men and each year they hold a themed dance.  This year, the theme was The Most Interesting Man in the World – so our final shots were a nod to this concept.  Noah put on a suit and finished the set with some great shots that are bound to make him (at least) The Most Interesting Man at Westside.

We posted a video of our behind the scenes work during the shoot and the video includes a few of the final images.  Click on the video below and see for yourself how much fun a senior session is at STP Images Photography Studio.  Not only is it fun, but just take a look at the awesome senior portraits you can have, too!  Call us or email us as our senior sessions are booking fast!
